An actual killbuckets minigun drive,
taken apart:

Timken bearing set #2 is used. A Chevy
Colorado truck uses the same part on the front wheels, 2 wheel
drive, by the way. the 3/4 plumbing pipe axle is turned down
slightly for them to fit. It is close enough to use a file;
you may get lucky and find smaller pipe, because its sizes by
the inside diameter, not outside. It can
vary.

Using a metal center axle makes for a
tough, solid m134 minigun assembly that can outlive yourself.
However, it's also harder to make, mount, and drive. It also
makes for a lot of the weight in the finished minigun, and
that is important with an airsoft minigun you want to actually
use.
